Sustainability is a foundational part of how Modern Magix operates, shaping both materials and process. From reused packaging to repurposed production waste, each step is approached with the intention to reduce, reuse, and recycle wherever possible.

The creations I offer have always been rooted in the three Rs: reduce, reuse, recycle. In the beginning, I worked primarily with what I had on hand—creating candles from leftover wax and sewing sigil-emblazoned pillows and herbal eye masks from reclaimed fabric. While my materials have evolved over time, that mindset has remained.

As Modern Magix grew, I transitioned from using recycled wax to working with eco-friendly raw materials for my handmade candles. Even with that shift, reducing waste continues to be a central part of my process.

Today, the majority of my shipping materials are reused. Production byproducts are repurposed into fire starters, made from wax remnants, wick trimmings, and herbal materials that would otherwise be discarded. This same approach extends to smaller details within my work, including hand-crafted intention papers created from recycled paper materials.

Sustainability within my work is not an afterthought—it is an ongoing practice of making use of what is available, minimizing waste, and approaching each part of the process with intention.
